Leesburg's Energy Efficiency Rebate Program
Over the past several decades, home appliances have become more energy efficient. When you purchase and install these products, you can save energy and money while reducing your impact on the environment.
Replacing old energy hogging appliances can create significant savings on monthly energy bills. Investing in those appliances, while cost-effective in the long-run, may not be affordable in the short term. To help customers invest in energy efficient appliances, Leesburg Electric is offering rebates for qualified, energy efficient products.
Leesburg’s Energy Efficiency Rebate Program is made possible through a joint partnership with the Florida Municipal Power Agency and other public power utilities throughout the state. Rebates are offered to Leesburg Electric customers on a first come, first served basis.
The City of Leesburg’s Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program offers rebates to residential customers for the qualified items listed below. The specifics pertaining to each item is available by clicking on the associated link. The customer must complete a rebate application for approval by the Leesburg Electric Department. The application must be submitted within 90 days of permit issue date or the date of purchase for those items that do not require a permit. Funding for these rebates are limited.
