Youth Football

Registration for any sports program require a Registration Form.

YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL (Boys & Girls Ages 5-15)

Friends: You do not need to be a City of Leesburg resident to play in this league!

   Registration:               March – May 
   Team Placement:      Tuesday, June 4th at 6:15pm
   Games:                         Tuesday & Thursday
   Time:                              6:00pm – 8:00pm
   Fee:                                 $35.00 resident / $50.00 non-resident.
   Location:                      Susan Street Complex

Divisions: Bitty ages 5-6, Juniors ages 7-9, Hot Shots ages 10-12, Prep 13-15

Where: Games for Bitty / Juniors at 6:00pm and Hot Shots / Prep 7:00pm on Mondays & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday. Games will be played on a grass fields. Practices will be held twice a week at Susan Street Complex. Specific day, time and location will be determined by the number of teams we can fill. Games begin in June.

The Basics: The City of Leesburg NFL Youth Flag Football League will be the ultimate youth flag football league in the area for boys and girls ages 5-15. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in thrilling action while learning lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship. It is played in a co-ed 5 on 5, non-contact format and all players get involved in the action.

Coaches: Parent Volunteer Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches are needed!!! If interested, please call Leesburg Parks & Recreation Department at (352) 728-9885 or email us at recrecreation.dept@leesburgflorida.gov.

Teams: Register early as a sponsor to improve the likelihood of your NFL team name.

2024 POP WARNER FOOTBALL REGISTRATION

If you have not turned in your 2023 uniform you will not be allowed to register. You will need to pay for a new one or return the old one.

2024 Pop Warner Physical and Parent Release

   RETURNING FOOTBALL PLAYERS REGISTRATION DATES
   January 1, 2024 to August 1, 2024 
   Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
   To register as a returner you must be on the 2023 Rec-Trac roster 

   NEW FOOTBALL PLAYERS REGISTRATION DATES
   April 1, 2024 to August 1, 2024 
   Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm 

   FOOTBALL REGISTRATION COSTS
   $150.00 per player (no refunds after August 7, 2024)
   Includes T-shirt, shorts

   Players will need to have their own practice pants, 7 piece pads and cleats!

Practices will begin August 1st
Games will be played on Saturdays and travel will be required for some games.
