DEBRIS REMOVAL IN LEESBURG
AFTER HURRICANE IRMA:

Leesburg, Fla -- Due to the effects of Hurricane Irma, the City of Leesburg has prepared to assist residents in removing storm vegetation debris.

Immediately following the storm, Leesburg Public Works crews were out conducting the “first push” – removing downed limbs and trees from roadways.

As residents begin yard clean up, please bring all of your storm vegetation to the edge of the road right-of-way. The City, through our debris removal contractors, will begin removal activities in earnest by Thursday, September 14. This action is aimed at providing residents with ample time to clean their yards and remove debris.

If you have questions regarding this process, call Leesburg Public Works at (352) 435-9442.
