On Saturday, June 26, 2004 at approximately 1:50am, Ronald Banks, a black male 38 years of age, was the victim of a shooting by an unidentified person.
Mr. Banks was found in the parking lot next to his residence at 1106 E. Dixie Ave., Leesburg, Fl. Mr. Banks was shot multiple times in the upper torso. He died at the scene.
Witnesses observed a light colored Mercury Grand Marquis with dark tinted windows leaving the scene. It is unknown as to what the motive was for this crime.
