Celebrate September and Get Library Cards at the Leesburg Public Library

It's "Library Card Sign-up Month" at the the Leesburg Public Library, from September 1 to September 30.  Every child who comes to the Youth Department and shows his or her library card, or registers for a new library card, can enter a drawing to win stuffed animals or books.  The library card needs to be in the child's name, not in the name of a parent or other adult.  Library cards are the best free school supply that any child can have, opening worlds of information and adventure to every child.

Stuffed animals have been donated by the LRMC Gift Shop.  Prize books and "stuffies" will be on display, throughout the month of September, in the Youth Department.  Stop by the Youth Department to participate.
