Kids Shape the Past, Mold the Present at the Leesburg LibraryDoes your kid dig the past? Is your child hooked on earthy matters like old civilizations and puttering around with pottery? Join Dr. Terri Ross on Thursday, October 12 at 6 PM at the Leesburg Public Library, as she guides 6 to 12 year old explorers on a journey through the once upon an historical time. Dr. Ross is an anthropologist and will be talking about native civilizations, how they changed and developed and will help kids create their own pottery craft. This class helps Scouts meet badge requirements, but all Leesburg children are invited to join this special earth-shaking experience. Spaces are limited, so call Library Assistant Janira Slate at 728-9790 to make your reservation.
