As our community grows, so does the need for ordinances regulating businesses, property owners, waste disposal and the possession and disposal of hazardous materials. Code enforcement is a lot more than issuing citations and notices to appear to violators. It's also educating businesses and property owners so that they fully understand city ordinances and their importance.
The Leesburg Police Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community through education and enforcement of our city ordinances. These ordinances, while sometimes seemingly restrictive, are necessary to protect others and their property.
Code enforcement violations may be reported to Senior Officers Mitchell Anderson or Michael Howard at the Leesburg Police Department by calling 352-728-9892. Violations requiring immediate attention may be reported by calling dispatch at 352-787-2121.
