Police Records

The Records Division of the Leesburg Police Department handles all of the public records generated by the department. These records include police reports, arrest affidavits, vehicle crash reports, traffic citations and other official police records.

Police Reports may be picked up at the service window located in the lobby of the police department. Please bring the case number provided to you by the officer at the time the report was taken. This will make it easier for the records clerk to locate the report. After an incident report is taken, please allow two to three days for the report to be processed before trying to pick it up. Accident reports take a little longer, so please allow at least five days for them. You may also receive reports via e-mail, in which you would need to contact the records division to make arrangements for this option. There are fees for police reports, unless you are the victim.
