The City of Leesburg Purchasing Division has partnered with Public Purchase for the use of an automated supplier registration and bid notification system. This system is currently used by the City for posting all formal solicitations as well as some informal solicitations for ‘quick quotes’ for purchases under $25,000 by the Purchasing Division and all City Departments.

There is NO COST to businesses to register. This system will serve as our private supplier directory and allow the City to access a current and updated supplier listing. Suppliers can sign-in at any time to maintain their information insuring it is current and accurate.

When you register as a supplier you are required to indicate what type of products or services your firm can provide. This insures the appropriate suppliers are notified eliminating erroneous notifications. The system will use these ‘categories’ to automatically notify you of opportunities to quote or bid. Not only will you have access to City of Leesburg opportunities but also opportunities from other registered agencies using Public Purchase to post their solicitations.

The City is confident this system will be a win-win for all involved. The City will have a current and comprehensive supplier listing. Suppliers will be automatically notified to the City’s procurement needs as well as possible opportunities from other agencies.
