The purpose of this class is to assist the Plant Manager/IPP Coordinator in the management and organization of the Oil and Grease Management Program and corresponding FDEP components of the Industrial Pretreatment Program.  The class is responsible for establishing compliance with City of Leesburg   Program and FDEP/EPA programs for current and future users of the sewer collections system and POTW (Public Owned Treatment Works) while assisting Coordinator with permit issuance for said users. The class is responsible for scheduling and conducting facility inspections, monitoring/sampling said facilities and collection system, maintaining logs and records, and completion of compliance reporting.  The class works according to prescribed procedures; decides how and when to do things under general supervision.  Requires a high school diploma, or GED and formal training, special courses or self-education equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education or specialized advanced training in industrial pretreatment field.  Plumbing experience required.  Experience in installation, use, and proper operation of grease removal systems and oil/water separators is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in Florida Building and Plumbing Codes preferred. Experience in conducting construction/installation inspections and Industrial Pretreatment Programs preferred.  Laboratory experience is preferred.  Days are Monday through Friday with assigned weekend shifts.
