The Records Section is staffed with a supervisor and three police records technicians to service the public and police personnel. The section is responsible for processing incoming reports, providing quality control to ensure reports are complete and accurate, and forwarding reports to the State Attorney Office and other agencies as required.
Additionally, the Records Section provides a variety of services to the public including, copies of police incident reports, traffic crash reports, local records checks (background checks), and finger printing using LiveScan technology. The Records Section is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Finger printing is available Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:30pm. The fee for finger printing services is $15.00. Please see the Finger Printing link for more information.
