Records Section

The Records Section is staffed with a supervisor and three police records technicians to service the public and police personnel.  The section is responsible for processing incoming reports, providing quality control to ensure reports are complete and accurate, and forwarding reports to the State Attorney Office and other agencies as required.

Additionally, the Records Section provides a variety of services to the public including, copies of police incident reports, traffic crash reports, local records checks (background checks).  More information about the services offered by the Records Section is available using the links in the menu on the left side of the page.

The Records Section is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
