Leesburg Offices to Close for 4th of July

City of Leesburg offices including City Hall at 501 W. Meadow St. will close Friday, July 4, for the Independence Day national holiday. 

The Leesburg Public Library at 100 E. Main St. also will close Friday. The library will reopen from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 5. 

All other city offices will reopen on Monday, July 7. Residential solid waste and hand commercial routes are rescheduled from Friday to Tuesday, July 8. 

Leesburg is a progressive city of more than 20,000 residents in northwest Lake County. The city government serves twice as many people with its electric, gas, water, wastewater and fiber-optic public utilities.
