Buying or Selling – You Can Find it at Leesburg's Trash to Treasure Yard Sale

he City of Leesburg Recreation Division will host one of the year’s biggest yard sales on Saturday, July 6.

Trash to TreasureThe Trash to Treasure Yard Sale will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Leesburg Community Center, 109 E. Dixie Avenue. Items can be set up from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 5.

Local residents and organizations can sell everything from clothes and furniture to antiques, collectibles and household items. No food or weapons will be sold.

The event is a great opportunity to find bargains. But you also could make some money by registering to sell your old and unwanted items.

Cost is $10 per table. Spots are available inside and outside of the community center. Proceeds benefit Leesburg’s traveling youth basketball program. To register, visit the Parks and Recreation staff at the Leesburg Recreational Complex, 1851 Griffin Road, or call 352-728-9885.

Registrations also will be accepted prior to the event on July 6.

Leesburg is a progressive city of more than 20,000 residents in northwest Lake County. The city government serves twice as many people with its electric, gas, water, wastewater and fiber-optic public utilities. Leesburg also is a central hub for commerce, attracting 50,000 people to work each weekday.
