Downtown Leesburg begins gearing up for Bikefest
…Expect traffic delays starting this weekend

LEESBURG, Fla – Starting Friday April 19, merchants, residents and visitors to the historic downtown Leesburg business district should expect street and parking lot closures and overall traffic congestion as crews begin setup for the 23rd Annual Leesburg Bikefest.  The three day event runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 26 through April 28.

More than a quarter million motorcycle enthusiasts, music lovers and visitors from all over the country will begin filling the streets of the Lakefront City beginning next week.  Leesburg Bikefest is the world's largest three-day motorcycle and music event with more than 55 concerts, 200 vendors and amazing bike shows all packed into 30 blocks over 3 days.

During Bikefest, the Customer Service drive-through payment window at City Hall will be closed Thursday, April 25. All offices in Leesburg City Hall and the Municipal Services Center will close on Friday, April 26. The Leesburg Public Library will close at 5:00pm on Thursday, April 25, and remain closed for the entire weekend.  All City offices re-open again on Monday, April 29.
