City of Leesburg offices will close for Memorial Day

     LEESBURG, Fla – City of Leesburg offices and facilities will close on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, May 28.

     The Leesburg City Commission meeting regularly scheduled for Monday, May 27 will be held on Tuesday, May 28 at 5:30pm.

     There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk items, appliance or recycling collection on Monday, May 27. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, May 30. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

     The Leesburg Public Library will close May 27 and will reopen Tuesday, May 28 with normal operating hours.
