City of Leesburg offices will close for Veterans Day 

     LEESBURG, FL – City of Leesburg offices and facilities, including City Hall and Customer Service, will close on Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, November 12.

     The Leesburg City Commission meeting normally scheduled for the second Monday of the month will be held on Tuesday, November 12at 5:30pm at Leesburg City Hall.

     There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk item, appliance or recycling collection on Monday, November 11. Residential and hand commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, November 14. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

     The Leesburg Public Library will close November 11 and will reopen Tuesday, November 12 with normal operating hours.

     The City gymnasium, located at 1851 Griffin Road, will be open from 10:00am – 4:00pm on November 11.
