Student art exhibit coming to Leesburg Public Library

     LEESBURG, FL - The public is invited to visit the Leesburg Public Library from March 23 to April 2 to view a competitive art exhibit by Lake County students.

     Presented by the Leesburg Center for the Arts, the 8th annual judged competition includes over 300 pieces of art created by students in local public and private schools. 

     Thirty-one awards will be given to winners in the following categories:

  • 2-D: Mediums: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, encaustic, pastel, drawing, ink, fiber
  • Photography:  Fine art quality
  • 3-D Sculpture: Three-dimensional art consisting of pottery, sculpture and clay.

     The exhibit will be available for viewing during regular library operating hours – Monday through Thursday 9am-7pm and Friday & Saturday 9am – 5pm
