City of Leesburg offices will close for Memorial Day  

     LEESBURG, Fla – City of Leesburg offices and facilities will close on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

     The Leesburg City Commission meeting regularly scheduled for Monday, May 25 will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 26 at 5:30pm. Details on how to view and participate in the meeting are available on the City Clerk page of the city website at www.leesburgflorida.gov.

     There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk items, appliance or recycling collection on Monday, May 25. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, May 28. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

     The Leesburg Public Library drive through service will close May 25 and will begin operating again on Tuesday, May 26.
