Leesburg government offices to close
for Christmas and New Year’s holidays

LEESBURG, FL – All offices and facilities of the City of Leesburg will be closed on Thursday, December 24^th and Friday, December 25^th for the Christmas holidays. Departments will re-open on Monday, December 28^th. Offices will also be closed on Friday, January 1^st for New Year’s Day, re-opening on January 4^th

The Solid Waste Division’s residential curbside collection service will not operate on these dates. Residential solid waste will move from Thursday, December 24^th to Monday, December 28^thand from Friday, December 25^th to Tuesday, December 29^th. Residential recycling normally collected on Friday, January 1^st will be picked up on Wednesday December 30^th. There will be no change to dumpster service for any holiday.

The Leesburg Public Library will close on Wednesday, December 23^rd at 7:00 p.m. and re-open on Saturday, December 26^th with normal operating hours. For New Year’s, the Library will close at 5:00pm on December 31^st and re-open on Saturday, January 2^nd with regular hours.
