Leesburg 4th of July closings

 fireworks - Copy         LEESBURG, FL - City of Leesburg offices including City Hall at 501 W. Meadow St. will close Monday, July 5, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Offices include Customer Service, City Clerk, Finance, Human Resources and the City Manager’s Office. 

          The Municipal Services Center at 204 N. 5th Street, which includes the Building Department, Planning and Zoning, Purchasing, IT and GIS Departments and the Leesburg Public Library at 100 E. Main St. will also be closed.

          Residential garbage collection and hand commercial routes will move from Monday to Tuesday. Recycling collection scheduled for Monday will be picked up on the customer’s next scheduled recycling day.

          Leesburg utility customers can make payments online through Leesburg’s website at www.leesburgflorida.gov or by calling the automated phone service at (352) 728-9810. Customers can also make payments at all Amscot offices. Online payments are accepted at www.fidelityexpress.com or in person at Fidelity Express payment centers, however convenience fees will apply.

          All City facilities will reopen on Tuesday, July 6.
