City of Leesburg offices will close for Labor Day 

          LEESBURG, Fla – City of Leesburg offices and facilities will close on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, September 7.

          There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk items, appliance or recycling collection on Monday, September 6. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, September 9. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

          The Leesburg Public Library will close September 6 and will reopen Tuesday, September 7 at 9:00am.

            The Rogers Park Splash Pad and H.O. Dabney Pool will be open throughout the holiday weekend – September 4 through September 6 – from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
