Downtown Leesburg begins gearing up for Bikefest

          LEESBURG, Fla – Starting Thursday, April 21, merchants, residents and visitors to the historic downtown Leesburg business district should expect street and parking lot closures and some traffic congestion as crews begin setup for the 2022 Leesburg Bikefest.   Bikefest logo 2022

          The Leesburg Partnership’s one-day event is set for Saturday, April 23. However, several local businesses are hosting activities starting on Friday, April 22 and lasting through Sunday, April 24. Travelers should be cautious and watch for motorcycles throughout the entire weekend.

          Due to Bikefest preparations, the utility payment drive through window at Leesburg City Hall will be closed on Friday, April 22. City Hall will be open during regular business hours and accessible for walk-in payments. The Leesburg Public Library will be closed on Saturday, April 23 and will reopen at 9am on April 25. No library materials will be due on Friday, April 22 or Saturday, April 23.
