City of Leesburg reopening facilities 
following Hurricane Ian

          LEESBURG, FL – City of Leesburg offices and facilities, including City Hall, Leesburg Public Library, Resource Center and the Leesburg gymnasium, will return to normal operations on Friday, September 30. 

          Public Works staff will also return to regular hours on September 30, including the Solid Waste Division which will resume service with the standard Friday pick-up schedule. For questions regarding trash, yard waste or recycling collection please call Public Works at 352-435-9442.

          Leesburg Electric crews continue to make repairs to neighborhoods and individual services with the goal of having all customers that can receive power energized by the end of the work day on Thursday, September 29. Customers can report issues by calling the Electric Department’s Trouble Reporting System at 1-833-223-1313.
