City of Leesburg offices to close for Veterans Day

          LEESBURG, FL – City of Leesburg offices and facilities, including City Hall and the Municipal Services Center, will close on Friday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. Regular operations will resume on Monday, November 14.

          The Leesburg Public Library will also close November 11 and will reopen Saturday, November 12 at 9:00am.

          There will be no garbage, yard waste or recycling collection on Friday, November 11. Residential and hand commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Fridays will be picked up on Tuesday, November 15. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

          Many City services including Building Permits, Planning and Zoning applications and utility payments can be conducted online at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov.
