City of Leesburg offices will close for Memorial Day

          LEESBURG, Fla – City of Leesburg offices and facilities will close on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, May 30.

          There will be no garbage or bulk item collection on Monday, May 29. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, June 1. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

          The Leesburg Public Library will close May 29 and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, May 30. 

          The H.O. Dabney Aquatic Center and the Rogers Park Splash Pad both begin summer hours on Memorial Day weekend and will be open from 10:00am-6:00pm daily starting Saturday, May 27. Admission at each facility is $2.00.

          Many city services including Building Permits, Planning and Zoning applications and utility payments can be conducted online at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov.
