Leesburg 4th of July closings

          LEESBURG, FL - City of Leesburg offices and facilities will close Thursday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.  Closings include City Hall, the Municipal Services Center, Public Works, Recreational Complex and the Leesburg Public Library.

          There will be no garbage or yard waste collection on Thursday, July 4. Residential and hand commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Thursdays will be picked up on Monday, July 8. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

          All city facilities will reopen on Friday, July 5. 

          The H.O. Dabney Aquatic Center and Rogers Park Splash Pad will both be open on July 4. The Aquatic Center will be open with extended hours from 11:30am – 6:00pm and the Splash Pad will follow the regular schedule of 10:00am – 6:00pm.           Many City services including Building Permits, Planning and Zoning applications and utility payments can be conducted online at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov.
