Access your library account

This button (or the My Account link on the left panel) will take you directly to your account on the library catalog website. There you can check to see what you have borrowed, what items are due and when, what you have on "hold", what items might have come in for you to pick up, and you can renew items from home. From there you can go to the main catalog page, look up items, create lists, etc.
New Reduced Hours - please make note.
Please make note of the new hours for the Leesburg Public Library. Beginning August 10th the library will be closed on Sundays and Fridays until further notice. The Library will also close on weekdays at 8 p.m. instead of 9 p.m.

Genealogy After Hours - 4th Annual!
Dead Men (and Women) Do Tell Tales - Effective Cemetery Research will be presented by professional genealogist, Ann Mohr Osisek. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, 5:30 - 8:30 pm. Attendees will have access to assistance and all library resources to further their genealogy research during the evening. Light refreshments will be served. Friends of the Library Essay Contest - Winning Essays
The Friends of the Library held an essay contest for Spring 08 based on the poem "How Do I Love Thee" by Elizabeth Barrett Browning. The winning essays can be read by clicking on the links located on the Teen page.

Bus Service to the Library
The Lake Transit bus now stops at the Leesburg Public Library on Main Street. Riders can wait for the bus on the park bench under the awning on the Elk Street side of the main entrance. Other benches are available on Elk Street near the "Bird Watchers" sculpture under the oak tree. Stop by the Library to pick up a bus schedule.
Help Support Our Troops via "Operation Ziplock"
Our patrons and staff have already sent 672 care packages (in the form of one-gallon resealable bags of toiletries and personal items) to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan! For information about how to help, come in to the Leesburg Library or call 352-728-9790.
