Summer Reading Program for Youth!
Our Summer Reading Program for children and teens will start on Monday, June 11 with the program at 11:00 a.m. featuring Math-U (cousin of Jiggleman!). Programs every Monday at 11:00 a.m. for all ages; every Tuesday at 3:00 for tweens; every Wednesday at 4:00 for teens; every Thursday 10:30 Storytime for younger children. The program ends August 4 with a Water Party at 11:00 a.m. Bring a towel!

Adult Summer Reading Between the Covers!
This summer anyone over the age of 18 can again join in the fun of a Summer Reading Program.
Between the Covers is this summer’s adult program theme at the Leesburg Public Library. Participants earn chances to win one of several prizes by reading books, listening to audio books, or attending special programs, including the eReader Clinic at 10 am on Tuesday, June 19
th; the October Mountain Band performance at 2 pm on Saturday, June 23
rd; Appraising Antiques at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 26th; Suwannee Notes at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 10
th, and Author Sherry Cooper Sanders at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 17

One-on-One Job Counseling and Assistance with Food Stamps and Medicaid! Every Tuesday
Do you need help developing a resume, finding a job, or applying for Medicaid, food stamps, or temporary cash assistance? Come to the Lesburg Public Library on Tuesdays for one-on-one job counseling provided by Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Inc. between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon. Also every Tuesday, one-on-one assistance with Medicaid and food stamp applications will be provided by Access Florida between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Please Note: Goodwill Industries help is not available on June 12th. Pre-registration is not necessary.

The Leesburg Public Library supports an active volunteer program. Please

Bus Service to the Library
The Lake Transit bus now stops at the Leesburg Public Library on Main Street. Riders can wait for the bus on the park bench under the awning on the Elk Street side of the main entrance. Other benches are available on Elk Street near the "Bird Watchers" sculpture under the oak tree. Stop by the Library to pick up a bus schedule.
